EatSmart Precision Body Check Scale

We all remember our childhood bathroom scale with that little rotating dial that told us how much we weighed. Metal and heavy and generally "basic." Nothing glamorous about it , and for the most part it did more harm to our self-esteem than good. Why? Because weight isn't equal and there is so much more that makes our body than how much it weighs!  Most of  my clients know I 'm always saying, "stop weighing yourself and start measuring."  I want you to understand your body and what its is made of and until now,  a scale just couldn't do that.

Enter the Smart Scales!!!

The process of losing weight and weight management has never been more in the forefront of society than it is today... and with technological advances, innovation and the rise of connected devices and smart apps, there are more tools than ever to empower us as we head down the road to reaching our ideal healthy weight. The consumer market is filled with a plethora of fancy fitness trackers, smart accessories, and wearable computers all intent on helping us track data and whip our bodes into peak physical condition.

Smart scales began to flood the market.  allowing us to track everything from BMI and muscle mass to bone density.... and that's not a bad thing!  These new wonder scales  range in price from $20 - $220 dollars and come complete with the ability to blue tooth connect to your smart phone & personalize apps to track your weight if you so desire.  With so many to choose from it can be confusing.

For my advice, I suggest keeping it simple...  We have a couple of scales around between my work and home and one of them is supposed to measure BMI, water and muscle mass... but, in months of use and experience, it's accuracy has diminished and it "Errors" out all the time. There are days I can't even get the same reading twice  within in a 30 second period ... NOT GOOD!!! So, just when I was ready to endeavor on the search for a new scale, the  "EatSmart Precision Body Check Bathroom Scale"  arrived in the mail as a promotion opportunity for me to test and review in exchange for an honest review!
Happy dance!
Well, I've so far given it about 20 days and while I typically don't suggest measuring yourself daily... I needed to make sure this scale would hold up, accurately, and not go all crazy like the last one. The EatSmart  Precision Body Check was more than up to the challenge and delivered accurate measurements in weight, body fat, body water, body muscle, BMI, bone mass, and estimated caloric intake!

As a fitness specialist  I need accuracy for not only my clients but myself as well.  The EatSmart  Precision Body Check is that and more...the Precision Body Check Digital Body Analyzer uses "Step-On" technology, which means I can just step on and don't have to tap or kick a button to get a reading (like the one that gave up).  The thing I really like about it is that once your weight locks in, the scale will beep allowing you to step off and get an easy view of the readout! It has a great sleek design and slim profile so I can tuck it under a therapy table or slide it out of the way in the bathroom.

The EatSmart Precision Body Check has enough memory for your entire  family and can store 8 member profiles without confusing them ... Important when using  for clients or for the family of gym rats.

This far I'm impressed and I don't see me switching to any other scale in the future as long as this one continues to perform the way it has.

So,  if you are counting your macros, logging your food and water  intake and tracking your weight gain or loss this is the perfect scale for you and ... it won't break your bank account... Save that other $200 to buy a new outfit for that new body you've created!
